지앙 미아오

1981년 중국 지린성에서 태어난 Jiang Miao는 2005년 북경 중앙미술학원을 졸업하고, 2009년 석사과정을 수료했다(목판화 전공). 어린 시절부터 그녀는 고대 문명과 예지에 깊은 관심을 갖게 되었고, 2003년부터는 음과 양, 점과 선, 에너지 생명의 해석에 전념하며 "자연과 인간은 하나"라는 동양 세계관을 형성한다. 최근에는 생명에 관한 테마로 창작 활동을 하고 있는 그녀의 작품은 동양철학의 「八掛」영혼의 상징인 「螺旋」, 에너지를 방출하는 「色彩」를 주요 시각효과로 적용함으로써 정신적·영혼적·신체의 진리를 암시한다. 그들은 보이지 않는 것으로부터 에너지를 흡수한 다음 영적 에너지와 자기장을 물리적 세계로 방출하여, 과도하게 물질화된 현재 세계에 미래 문명에 대한 지속적인 생각을 던진다. 그녀의 작품은 중화권 국가의 갤러리와 박물관에 널리 전시되었으며, 2020년 화이트스톤 긴자 뉴갤러리에서 열린 그녀의 첫 개인전 'Glow of Harmony in Japan'은 큰 호평을 받았다. 또한, 2022년 홍콩에서 열린 그녀의 개인전 '희망의 빛'은 화이트스톤 홍콩 갤러리에서 성공적으로 개최되었다.
