Featuring 9 artists and over 60 works, the exhibition offers a rich variety of media and styles, showcasing the cutting edge of global contemporary art.

Philip Colbert|Bedroom in Arles (Pink) 2/100, 2021, Giclee Print on Paper, 80.0 × 98.0 cm
We are pleased to present British pop artist Philip Colbert at Art Jakarta again for his successful contribution to previous fairs, and he is renowned for integrating lobster characters in prints and collectables. He will be presenting alongside another Japanese pop artist, Aruta Soup, with his recurring rabbit character, ZERO. It is a vibrant encounter between two distinct yet resonant artistic universes, united by a shared exploration of imagination, play, and contemporary visual culture.

Aruta Soup|Clean Money, 2025, Acrylic on Canvas, 128.0 × 128.0 × 4.0 cm

Yu Kawashima|EROSION-Β-, 2024, Hemp Paper, Indian Ink, Mineral Pigment, and Silver Foil, 72.7 × 72.7 cm
For the first time, we will present two promising and talented Japanese artists, Miki Katoh and Yu Kawashima, with their delicate, psychological, and aesthetic takes on female transformation and beauty. Both artists have a strong personalised style in reinterpreting Japanese culture of Kimono and Nihonga through a contemporary perspective.

Miki Katoh|Stargate, 2026, Gouache, Watson Paper, and Wood Panel, 33.3 × 24.2 cm

Deborah McKellar|The Garden City #4 (Phoenix), 2023, Acrylic Painting, Silkscreen Printing, Digital Printing, Markers, Colour Pencils, Pastels, Gold Leaf, Flocking, and Fabric on Wooden Panel, 60.0 × 45.0 cm
It is also a debut for Japanese sculptor Masayuki Tsubota and South African artist Deborah McKellar. We will be bringing Masayuki Tsubota’s vibrant material sculptures that express flexibility, density, and playfulness with materials like wood, stone, and mineral pigments. Deborah McKellar’s artwork, on the other hand, is grounded in place, architecture, and memory. Through a meticulous process of silkscreen printing, stitching threads, and painting forms, McKellar transforms physical heritage landmarks into poetic reflections of identity and belonging as a South African rooted in Singapore.

Masayuki Tsubota|The Wall of Self_vstfvst, 2022, Gesso and Acrylic on Basswood, Tin Foil, 19.5 × 9.2 × 80.0 cm
Highlights include Japanese artist Kohei Kyomori, emerging Indonesian artist Clasutta, and Malaysian artist C.K. Koh, who has received strong attention at previous editions of Art Jakarta. Each artist will present new bodies of work that offer fresh perspectives on their respective practices.

Kohei Kyomori|M Jyuzo F, 2025, Mineral Pigments, UV Resin on Canvas, 162.2 × 130.2 × 5.5 cm
Kohei Kyomori will showcase works from several series, including a new experimental black-and-white ink series and the geometric canvas, Triumphant Eagle WT (2026), alongside his signature decorative culture series. Bringing us back to his core concept of “adorning oneself,” examining the relationship between identity and surface.

Clasutta|Personality Check!, 2026, Oil on Canvas, 60.0 × 90.0 × 5.0 cm
Clasutta will present her new series, Be Right Back (2026), which explores the individual cubicle as an intimate, private space within a public environment. Often associated with moments of solitude and withdrawal, each cubicle becomes a temporary refuge — a place to step away from the crowd, retreat from the outside world, and find a moment of privacy.

C.K. Koh|Raku Raku, 2026, Oil on Linen, 117 × 92 cm
C.K. Koh will present a new series inspired by memories of a trip to Japan with his son, translating personal experiences and shared moments into paintings. The canvases become intimate memory capsules, an enduring bond between father and son.
