Her artworks apply a powerful expression to focus on the subjects of holy beats which has the power of death. She outstanding performance led her to held solo exhibitions continuously in her hometown Nagano, including The Museum of Tetsu, Kitano Museum of Art Annex, and Ueda City Museum of Art. In 2014, she dedicated her work to Izumo Taisha Shrine, which elevated her art to an upper ground. In the same year, Komatsu collaborated with landscape designer Kazuyuki Ishihara and exhibited her Aritaporcelain guardian dog at Chelsea Flower Show in London; the work won the golden prize and entered the collection of British Museum. She also collaborated with HTC to create the VR interactive “Prayer”, which was shortlisted for the 76th Venice Film Festival VR Competition Unit.
