Miwa Komatsu: "Spirituality and Mandala" at Zenkoji Temple

The Miwa Komatsu's “Spirituality and Mandala” exhibition is on special display at Zenkoji Temple in Japan from March 25 to June 20,2022.
With more than 1,400 years of history, Zenkoji Temple is one of the oldest and largest Buddhist temples in Japan. Every seven years, the temple holds the ‘Gokaicho’ to celebrate its history and heritage by publicly displaying the ‘Maeyachi Honzon’ replica- said to be the first Buddhist statue brought into Japan.
In commemoration, Japanese contemporary artist Miwa Komatsu is exhibiting a rare selection of works dedicated to Zenkoji in 2021.
