In late July, under the blazing midsummer sun of Taipei, "ART OF MIKU -Taipei Exhibition-" kicked off at Whitestone Gallery Taipei with much enthusiasm. Even before the doors opened, a long queue of passionate fans had already formed, eager to be among the first to see the exhibition.

On VIP Day, over 100 guests who secured highly sought-after, limited early-bird tickets gathered for the event. Every guest was presented with an exclusive acrylic keychain alongside an entry ticket for a special raffle held in the late afternoon. Visitors immersed themselves in the exhibition and explored a wide selection of exclusive merchandise, specially created for this show in collaboration with the participating artists. As previous ART OF MIKU exhibitions were held exclusively in Japan, this provided a rare opportunity for local fans to purchase official collaboration items, with many products selling out on the very same day.

Stage One of the exhibition features 22 artists and over 40 artworks, showcasing a diverse range of interpretations inspired by Hatsune Miku and other Virtual Singers. The participating artists are:

At around 4:00 p.m., participating artists K. Tsai CAI & YICHI, Lai Jun T., Lo Chan-Peng, Tetsutaro Abe, Ryosuke Kawahira, and Chisato Yamashita, Kei Yamanaka, Planning Producer at W.creation for ART OF MIKU and Whitestone Gallery CEO Koei Shiraishi each gave a brief introduction to the audience.

Opening Remarks

Following the speeches, the artists participated in the lottery drawing, personally selecting winning tickets from the box. Lucky visitors received a variety of prizes, including signed posters and exclusive artist merchandise. Among the prizes that generated huge excitement were an oversized, not-for-sale poster hand-signed by Naoki Saito, as well as a skateboard deck autographed by K. Tsai CAI and YICHI.

The official opening day, held the day after VIP Day, welcomed more than 500 people into the gallery, many visitors arrived wearing Hatsune Miku merchandise and even brought their own Hatsune Miku plushies and dolls, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Fans had the opportunity not only to enjoy the artworks but also to connect with one another through their shared passion for contemporary art and Hatsune Miku.

Following the current First Stage of the exhibition , Second Stage will begin on August 29, featuring 38 artworks by 23 artists. The participating artists are:
