In the creational style of both of the two, who were under the tutelage of Shozo Shimamoto, the GUTAI’s spirit “Don’t imitate others, make something that has not been made before” has been continuously passed down.
ARTIST miu breathes life into the supposedly inorganic cement with her richly pop coloration.

On the other hand, Theo HAZE internalizes his own untamed sensibility from nature, religion, and philosophy, making it visible as a pop character.
In this exhibition, we will present their latest works that reflect the potential new approaches of art to the histories and communities under the incessant updates or “awakening” triggered by the Covid-19.
