하나다 가즈하루
하나다 가즈하루
하나다 가즈하루(1946-2017)는 홋카이도를 대표하는 추상화가중 한명이다. 삿포로에서 출생한 작가는 1965년 도쿄예술대학 유화과에 입학하고 대학원 졸업 후 1974년 삿포로로 돌아가 홋카이도 아방가르드 운동의 주요 구성원으로 활동한다. 어떤 단체에도 가입하지 않고 2017년 별세할 때까지 개인전과 그룹전을 중심으로 작품을 전시하였다. 그의 작품은 Ellsworth Kelly 등의 기하학적 도형과 선명한 윤곽의 추상화 그림을 연상시키는 일관되게 선명한 색면으로 구성된 추상화였다. 특히 1980년대 중반부터 하나다는 친근감과 유머가 느껴지는 독특한 추상세계를 형성해갔다.
