첸 잉지에

Chen Yingjie는 1991년 중국 광둥성에서 태어났고 현재 포산시 순더구에서 거주하며 작업활동을 하고 있다. 작가는 이젤 그림, 대규모 벽화, 라이브 공연 및 공간 장치를 만드는데 전념하고 있다. 그는 다양한 회화 매체를 활용하여 중국 전통 수묵화와 서양 그래피티 예술의 결합을 탐구하고, 이 두 가지 상반되고 모순된 문화 패턴 사이의 균형을 이루기 위해 노력한다. 또한 작가는 문화적 제약에서 벗어나 새로운 독창적인 예술적 언어를 확립하고자 노력한다. 미국 잡지 “Complex”에 의해 ‘알아야 할 현대 중국 예술가 25인’중 한명으로 선정되었고, 포브스 잡지의 2020년 ‘30세 이하 30인’ 리스트에 선정된 바 있다.
