Inspired by the works of the masters at his university and moving to Sao Paulo, Brazil as a young man, Yayanagi has been active in the art scene for over 70 years. "Hop Step Jump" is a metaphor to describe the retrospective exhibition that explores his past, present, and future which expresses his dedication in his art to leap further and beyond.
