

TOMOHIRO YAGI

Born in Kobe in 1984, Tomohiro Yagi graduated from Takarazuka University of Art and Design. Yagi mainly draws inspiration from the Japanese culture and traditions in her creative processes. The artist has developed a unique kinship with the material yarn, as traditional kimonos and embroiders are made of yarn. With her works Yagi tends to express her Japanese identity. Graduated from Takarazuka University of Art and Design in Hyogo, Yagi has participated in many exhibitions, including the Ashiya City Exhibition in 2005, group exhibition in Modena, Italy, AU exhibition hosted by the Mora Foundation in Naples, and Beijing. Yagi furthermore presented her works in a cultural exchange in Kiev, Ukraine.
