鷲見康夫

中学・高校で教員生活をしながら、同僚であった嶋本昭三の勧めで絵を描き始める。数学の教師であった鷲見は、偶然から「そろばん」が描く軌跡の美しさを発見。以降、ヴァイブレーターや番傘と並び「そろばん」が鷲見の技法の代名詞となる。具体美術協会へは1955年から加入し、解散までのすべての具体美術展に出品。「やけくそ・ふまじめ・ちゃらんぽらん」を制作上の信条とし、インスピレーションと即興性に満ちた作品群は吉原治良にも賞賛される。嶋本昭三と同様、欧米で数多くの展示を行ない、とりわけイタリアでの知名度が高い。
